JERUSALEM | In recognition of ‘an outstanding scientific project’, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Quds University, Dr. Ahmad Amro, has recently gained membership in the Arab- German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA). Selected on the basis of rigorous assessment, the prominent Al-Quds University researcher, whose membership will extend over the next five years, is the first Palestinian to join the German Academy which focuses its work on the exchange of research experiences.

Georgia Tech academic research writing workshop expected to beget future initiatives

JERUSALEM  -  In its continuing mission to cultivate scientific research skills to promote Palestinian society and in its ongoing endeavors to contribute to world knowledge, Al-Quds University recently worked in tandem with the Georgia Institute of Technology to organize an intensive workshop on academic research writing that aimed to provide Palestinian participants with cultural principles utilized for a western audience, introduce new strategies on producing academic writing, and inject confidence into the students so as to professionalize their research writing skills.

Results of joint scientific research present solutions to challenges facing Palestinian society   

JERUSALEM - Within the framework of enhancing research cooperation between Al-Quds University and other higher education institutions and research centers around the globe, the Department of Social Work‘s Dr. Najwa Safadi and her counterpart Dr. Scott Easton from Boston College recently concluded a joint study entitled "Health and Well-being of Public Sector Social Workers in Palestine” that aims to solve issues domestically while at the same time plans to attract other regional players to join forces in academic collaboration.

Voluntary research group by Al-Quds University and Hebron Governorate

 “Academics at the Service of Khalil Al-Rahman” aspires to assist development in Hebron

JERUSALEM | Al-Quds University’s Department of Developmental Sciences, and  in collaboration with the Hebron Governorate, recently launched what they named “Academics at the Service of Khalil Al-Rahman”, a voluntary research group aspiring to aid and accelerate the development process and prosperity in Hebron. Created in the framework of the instructions of the President of Al-Quds University Professor Imad Abu Kishek, the research body seeks to serve the local community of Hebron and meet its developmental needs.

Fourth international conference of "Contemporary Trends in Humanitarian Issues: Experiences and Approaches"

Dr. Wafaa Al-Khatib from the Faculty of Arts received a certificate of thanks and appreciation for her participation, helping in the activities of the fourth international conference of "Contemporary Trends in Humanitarian Issues: Experiences and Approaches" in addition to her research entitled :
"The patterns of socialization in relation to the sexual harassment in the West Bank" which was held at the University of Jordan on 10th and 11th of April 2018.
