JERUSALEM A| In cooperation with the Palestine Central Bureau of Statistics, Deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Quds University recently concluded an advanced course in the statistical tools of research analysis which targeted students of Dentistry.
Organized by the Dentistry students’ research club, the info training course aimed to foster the students’ skills in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software program which is used to perform quantitative analysis and is applied as a complete statistical package that is based on a point and click interface.
Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Elham Khatib noted that holding such training for the students is in line the university’s strategy to qualify its students for conducting quality researches that would promote scientific production in Palestine and compete worldwide. With respect to this, she pointed out that Al-Quds University has recently launched its peer reviewed scientific journal to allow researchers from all over the world a further platform for scientific publication.
Al-Quds University assigns great importance to student and faculty exchanges with national and international universities and research centers. In addition to dispatching its students and researchers to other countries to conduct advanced researches, the university always welcomes scholars from abroad to visit its campus and share their research experiences.
