Within the vision of the Deanship of Scientific Research to build the research capacity of AQU students, the Deanship, in cooperation with the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, organizes training sessions for 20 contact hours to teach the skills of using the statistical software (SPSS) and its applications in scientific researches.

Dr. Badi Sartawi from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, published a poster explaining how the main analysis of the algorithm work. The poster contains a list of Algorithmic Design Method/Strategies, Analysis Framework Key Terms, Common Algorithmic Problems, and summary of  types of Data Structures.  This poster would be useful while teaching Computer Science and Algorithmic problem solving. I like to make reference to the first few references by A. Levitin mainly the article on teaching algorithms.

Sabreen Daghera, A student of the Environmental Studies Program / Faculty of Science and Technology at Al-Quds University, discussed a master's thesis titled: "

“Improvement of large scale wastewater treatment plant using Epuvalisation technique and micelle clay complex column”

Jerusalem| A team from Al-Quds University won the best research award on osteoporosis against several competing universities offered by the Palestinian Islamic Bank under the auspices of the Palestinian Polytechnic University, Dr. Akram Kharoubi and Prof. Hisham Darwish.

Dr. Abdul Hakim Eidah was invited by Professor Marius Kloft, a specialist in Statistical Theory of Machine Learning in University of TU Kaiserlslautern.

On Sunday, December 3rd,  the Deanship of Scientific Research Office and the Deanship of Digital Education at Al-Quds University held a workshop on how to write the Motivation Letter and The Statement of Purpose.

 The Deanship of Digital Learning and the Deanship of Scientific Research organized a valuable hands-on workshop on How to formulate a research question that is searchable in scientific databases, Research presented by the Fulbright Scholar at Al-Quds University, Claudia Dold and the Dean of Scientific research, on Tuesday November 21th 2017 from 11:00-1:00

A team of researchers from Alquds University has developed a Smartphone application that is able to detect breast cancer, marking a turning point in the efforts of early diagnosis of this fatal disease.

On October 17, the deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Quds University held a lecture under the title “Mechanisms of Publication on Economics and Humanities”. The lecture was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Awadd, Faculty of Business and Economics at AQU.

On Sunday October 10^th, the Deanship of Scientific Research Office and the Deanship of Digital Education at Al-Quds University held a training session on how to use the application of the MS Word Office program and other applications for writing the CV.

Jerusalem – On October 7, and with the participation of a number of researchers, specialists, students and faculty from different Palestinian universities, the University held the 7^th PFMR Biomedical Research Symposium, as part of its interest in medical research.
