Jerusalem – On October 7, and with the participation of a number of researchers, specialists, students and faculty from different Palestinian universities, the University held the 7^th PFMR Biomedical Research Symposium, as part of its interest in medical research.

Jerusalem| In continuation of the series of research activities at Al-Quds University, the Deanship of Scientific Research at the University organized a workshop on "ways to benefit from the grants and projects of the German-Palestinian Science Bridge" (PGSP Julich).

An induction meeting on the prospects and means of joint research cooperation between researchers in Palestinian Universities and engaging them into the scientific research network of COMSATS, where it will talk about the opportunities of funding the researches, the research partnerships, training workshops in addition to Masters and Doctoral degree scholarships and this talk will be hosted by Dr. Redwan Qasrawi.  

On August 23^rd, the Deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Quds University organized, in coordination with the Office of the Assistant President for Research, Innovation and Development, the first meeting in a series to acquaint researchers and faculty members with the projects and funding opportunities available to AQU researchers in the coming few months.

Al Quds Academy for Scientific Research (QASR) has launched on Sunday, in the Jordanian capital of Amman, the first call to aid scientific research and projects on stem cells and genetic engineering, as well as researches on energy, agriculture, water and food, funded by a local donor with the largest donation of its kind, with the sum of 375 thousand Jordanian Dinars.

As representatives of Al-Quds University, Professor Hasan Dweik, Vice President for Communication and Development, Dr. Badie Sartawi, Vice President for Research Development and Innovation and Dr. Isam Ishaq Dean of Dual Studies Faculty participated in the first workshop that aims at initiating a project funded by the German Government to support scientific cooperation between Palestinian Universities and Jülich German Research Institute.
