On Monday November 6th, a hands-on workshop organized by the Deanship of Digital Learning and the Deanship of Scientific Research on the “Citation Management Software “Mendeley” “
This Workshop was presented by Dr. Claudia J. Dold, a Fulbright Scholar at Al-Quds University.
Mendeley is citation management software that works both with databases and with Word to enhance the research and writing process. In addition to storing citations and pdfs in one place, it creates a personal library for the researcher’s inventory of articles.
Participants at this workshop received hands-on training on searching in the databases using key terms, finding articles and saving them to Mendeley.
At the end of this workshop participants were able to use Mendeley to add citations to a document, and describe the workflow of research and writing with a citation management program.
