Al-Quds University and Dr.Venki Ramakrishnan, a Nobel Prize-winning biologist and The President of The Royal Society in Britain, discussed cooperation ways between the university and the British Council, to develop the scientific research at the university, using the university's plan to develop a scientific research system which aims to serve the research growth in Palestine. Also, to find solutions for society challenges.
The scientist Ramakrishnan gave a lecture about his scientific research achievements in Molecular Biology and Chemistry in the presence of several researchers from the university. The lecture also involved his studies in " The Structure and Function of The Ribosome”. He reviewed his scientific academic career until winning the Nobel prize.
