Under the patronage of President Prof. Imad Abu Kishk, Al-Quds University's Deanship of Scientific Research and the Al-Quds Bard College of Arts and Sciences hosted the sixth undergraduate research conference. This event, held virtually via Zoom, included participation from Palestinian and Arab universities.

The conference received 82 research abstracts, which were reviewed by a specialized committee. Approximately 50 presentations, including posters and oral presentations, were delivered by students from Palestinian and Iraqi universities. The topics covered a diverse range of fields, including dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, public health, engineering, economics, political science, human rights, and the humanities and social sciences. The presentations were organized into three virtual rooms based on their specialties.

The Academic Network for Development Dialogue (ANDD) in collaboration with Al-Quds University, Qatar University and the ESCWA proudly announces the resounding success of its virtual capacity-building workshop, "Research Fundamentals for Early Researchers and Advanced Students in the Arab World." Spanning seven months from November 2023 to May 2024, this impactful initiative has significantly nurtured research skills and critical thinking among Arab youth, reflecting the region's immense need for such educational programs.

The workshop, conducted in both Arabic and English, engaged hundreds of young scholars in an interactive learning platform. With sessions held weekly, participants benefitted from 1.5 to 2 hours of intensive learning each session, guided by 24 distinguished speakers from different Arab and International research institutions. The course structure combined lectures and discussions, ensuring an engaging and dynamic educational experience.

The Deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Quds University and Al-Quds Bard College invite current undergraduate students and recent graduates from Palestinian, regional, and international universities as well as high school students to submit their research abstracts to the 6th Undergraduate Research Conference that will take place at Al-Quds University in-person, and virtually via AQU Zoom platform on April 29^th, 2024.

Jerusalem, June 14, 2023 - Al-Quds University is delighted to announce the release of the second issue of the Al-Quds Journal for Academic Research - Humanities and Social Sciences. Managed by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Quds University and led by a highly competent editorial team, this open-access, peer-reviewed journal aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas in the fields of humanities and social sciences.

The Dean of Scientific Research at Al-Quds University held the activities of the fifth conference for undergraduate research in collaboration with Al-Quds Bard College. The event was held under the patronage of the University President, Dr. Imad Abu Kashk, and featured the participation of student researchers from Palestinian and regional universities, as well as several high schools.

Al-Quds University honored its academic researchers and students for their outstanding efforts during the "University of Jerusalem Award for Scientific Research for the Academic Year 2021-2022" ceremony, organized by the university's Dean of Scientific Research and attended by the university's President, Dr. Imad Abu Kishek, and its academic and student researchers.

This project aims to contribute to the educational experience of students in Palestine, by connecting them and their local mentors with international research projects and facilitating collaborations. It is not set up to arrange student travel outside of Palestine.

Israa’ Baker, a dental student, places third in the Youth Exceptional Speakers (YES) Symposium for the year 2022 that was held as part of Makkah International Dental Conference and Exhibition at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah, Saudi Arabia at the end of October. She was among the six winners of the first round of 26 competitors from different Arab countries.

We are happy to announce the release of the 3rd volume of PalStudent Journal. This volume was dedicated to the proceedings of the 4th Undergraduate Research Conference. It has extended abstracts for 63 research papers in 13 disciplines and one more section for Schools Research.
