Al-Quds University Announces the Release of Volume 4, Issue 1 (2026) of the Al-Quds Journal for Natural Sciences

Al-Quds University is pleased to announce the publication of Volume 4, Issue 1 (2026) of the Al-Quds Journal for Natural Sciences, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing excellence in scientific research and providing a platform for the dissemination of original research and review articles in the natural, medical, and biological sciences.

This issue holds special significance as it was released under the leadership of the late Professor Rafeeq Qaraman, Editor-in-Chief of the journal, who remained devoted to his academic and scientific mission until his final days. Professor Qaraman supervised the completion and release of this volume only two weeks before his passing. The Editorial Board and Al-Quds University pay tribute to his memory and honor his distinguished contributions to science, scholarship, and academic service. His enduring legacy will continue to inspire future generations of researchers and scholars.

The new issue features a diverse collection of scientific studies and reviews that reflect the journal’s multidisciplinary scope. Among them are two comprehensive review articles by Professor Qaraman and colleagues addressing the therapeutic potential of nanobodies and the effects of medications on appetite and food intake. The issue also includes original research on enhancing the solubility of the antifungal drug ketoconazole, the effects of antioxidants on membrane stability in beet cells under oxidative stress, plasma physics research, and a study investigating the inhibition of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) using phosphonate compounds.

The Al-Quds Journal for Natural Sciences remains committed to promoting high-quality scientific scholarship, fostering research collaboration, and ensuring broad access to scientific knowledge for researchers, students, and the wider academic community. Through this mission, the journal contributes to strengthening Al-Quds University’s role as a center of research, innovation, and academic excellence.
