Case Studies in Business and Management Macrothink Institute titled (Visionizing a Fiat Cryptocurrency)

On 1.1.2018,  Sand Salhout published a new study in (Case Studies in Business and Management Macrothink Institute) titled (Visionizing a Fiat Cryptocurrency).
The article goal was the evaluation of the feasibility of a cryptocurrency as legal tender in Palestine.

The results of this study demonstrated that what has been said about the PP applies to any other fiat cryptocurrency. If, for example, the Vatican decides to launch Vatican Coins then this will have similar implications. Cryptocurrencies rely on blockchain technology. As such they are vulnerable to private key theft and malicious P2P attacks. The  article looked at the possibility for the PP from a socio-economic perspective and purposely excluded political aspects which may be regarded as a limitation of our research. Scope for further research will be the assessment of perceptions of citizens and the expected acceptance of the PP by national and international organizations).
