In Vitro Antibacterial Activity of Selected Palestinian Medicinal Plants against Chlamydia trachomatis

On ( 8.8.2021) ,  (Omar Hamarsheh, Ahmad Amro and Munir Al-Zeer ) published a new study in (Microbiology Research) titled (In Vitro Antibacterial Activity of Selected Palestinian Medicinal Plants against Chlamydia trachomatis). The article aimed to (test and quantify the activity of plant extracts from Palestine against Chlamydia-infected HeLa cells with C. trachomatis inclusions.)The results of this study demonstrated that(plant extracts may contain active ingredients with antichlamydial activity potential and can be used as alternative drug candidates for treatment of Chlamydia infection which has significant socio-economic and medical impact).
