This research aimed to evaluate the influence of changing lifestyle using the 5A’s model on mental health issues and life quality in women with Polycystic ovary syndrome PCOS. The findings indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores regarding the women’s total body mass index, total anxiety score, total depression score, and total self-esteem score at pre-implementation of the 5A’s model and 1- and 3-month postimplementation. Also, there are statistically significant differences between the average scores regarding the women’s total health-promoting lifestyle behaviors and health-related quality of life at pre-implementation of the 5A’s model and 1- and 3-month postimplementation. Moreover, there was a statistically significant difference among mean scores regarding all items of women’s satisfaction with life at pre-implementation of the 5A’s model and at 1- and 3-month postimplementation. The implementation of the 5A’s model was effective in improving mental health issues, health-promoting lifestyle behaviors, and health-related quality of life and raising satisfaction with life among women with PCOS.
