On 20 June 2025, Ashraf Jehad Abuejheisheh published a new study in Chronic Stress titled Improving Subjective Well-Being Through EMDR Therapy among PTSD Patients in Jordan: A Quasi-Experimental Study. The article aimed to examine the effectiveness of an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) intervention on improving the subjective well-being of patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in Jordan. This study offers valuable insights into the mental health status and the effect of EMDR intervention of patient with PTSD in Jordan. The findings of this trial suggest that PTSD patients who were exposed to EMDR showed significant improvement in their SWB across all periods of testing. This study findings may offer further areas of concentration for policymakers and mental health organizations advocating for mental health amelioration in Jordan.
